OneStaff News – March

April 5, 2016 0 comments

We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and took the chance to relax and unwind!

With Summer having come to an end, the amount of work going on only seems to be heating up. There’s a lot of great opportunities out there across a wide range of skills, so check out our jobs page if you’re looking for work.

There is also a lot of change occurring in the industry at the moment, including new regulations surrounding Health & Safety coming in next week, and an increase in the minimum wage coming into effect on Friday.

Even with all this (and more) going on, our teams all over the country have still been able to find the time to get out of the office and get involved in the community. This month saw our Christchurch team make some special hot cross bun deliveries to our clients over the Easter weekend, whilst our Hawkes Bay team ran in their local Relay For Life to raise money for the New Zealand Cancer Society.

Good on you guys, keep up the good work!

Spreading the Easter Joy

A few days ago, Clive and the team in Christchurch got up a little bit earlier than usual to mix up some ingredients and whip up their special hot cross bun recipe. Fortunately, it didn’t take them long to realise that this was a job best left to professionals!

Running in Relay for Life

On the 5th of March, the Hawke’s Bay OneStaff team strapped on their running shoes and went out to run in their local Relay For Life event and raise money for the New Zealand Cancer Society. It was an incredible day, with hundreds of people coming together to raise more than $100,000!
