It’s a new year, with new projects and insights from our Area Managers and our first Market Overview of 2017 comes from Palmerston North and Andrew Ward.
In our discussion with Andrew, he discusses his team, the most sought after roles in the region plus he shares his vision for OneStaff within the Manawatu/Whanganui region.
Palmerston North Market Overview
With a team of five, Andrew and the Palmerston North branch cover a range of sectors, from construction to commercial and as Andrew highlights this is only the beginning for the OneStaff branch. He highlights his aims for the future for OneStaff in Palmerston North, he suggests that his focus for the future is to continue developing the brand within the region whilst also offering a number of other recruitment solutions for our candidates and clients.
Andrew also discusses the most sought after roles in the region. Most notably he suggests that due to the large Warehousing industry within the region, there are plenty of roles available for those with fork-lift driving or packaging skills and experience. In terms of Civil and general construction opportunities within the region, he suggests that there is a need for Class 2, 4 and 5 Drivers, Digger operators and general labourers.
