Specialist construction, industrial and manufacturing recruitment agency expands operation with new West Auckland and Rotorua branches.

Over the last year, the OneStaff Group have invested successfully in expanding our national strategic accounts function across the country. This has seen OneStaff securing nationally based work with some of New Zealand’s industry leading companies across several core sectors. we are very pleased to announce a few additional developments in the expansion and capability within this aspect of our service.

Due to the rapid development of our Bay of Plenty operations, OneStaff will be opening a new office in Rotorua as an extension of our Tauranga branch on 1st June 2017. Steve Burrows, who was our Auckland Operations Manager, has taken on the challenge to represent and expand our brand and service clients further in this are.

Group General Manager, Jonathan Ives, said “We see our commitment to the expansion of our Bay of Plenty operation mirroring the local growth that is evident across the region. Concurrently, it also supports the strategic development of our service capability to key national partners who also have operations in the area. In an industry, often criticised for rapid staff turnover, we’re also proud of our commitment to develop and promote people within our business.”

This, of course, leaves space in our growing Auckland operation and we are very pleased to announce a shift in role for two of our key people in this region. Logan Fui, the OneStaff original employee for Auckland, will now be stepping up to operations management of the Auckland team. Troy Thurston will be taking on the strategic oversight of the Auckland Region as the Auckland Area Manager (concurrent with his continued work as our Strategic National Account Manager). As further evidence of our Auckland growth, we have also opened a new West Auckland office earlier this month to accommodate growing candidate and client needs within the region.

Ives commented that “Both Troy and Logan have been key pillars in the culture of our Auckland operation during its development over the last few years, and we know their combined dedication to driving excellence in service in Auckland will be beneficial for all our team, candidates and clients.”

In the development of national capability and OneStaff’s commitment to quality and innovation in technique and service delivery across all regions, Matt Groucott (Bay of Plenty Area Manager) has added the role of National Quality and Compliance Management to his Area Management responsibilities. This extends OneStaff’s Strategic Account Management team, given the recent addition of a dedicated administrative function as well.

Ives concluded that “We are very excited by these developments, as it ensures our focus on continual improvement and that best in service practise will be kept firmly at the forefront of our efforts to the benefit of our candidates and clients throughout New Zealand. We have developed our national capability and corporate structure, without losing our local regional focus or the beneficial agility of being a privately owned New Zealand company – something we are very proud of.”

With 15 branches within its national network, OneStaff is set to become New Zealand’s largest privately owned specialist recruitment agency, as determined by the number of branches. Within the past year, OneStaff has been recognised as one of New Zealand’s fastest growing companies in the Deloitte Fast 50 for the second year in a row, as well as winning the Large Recruitment Agency of the Year Award in the 2016 SEEK Sara Awards.
