We’re proud to award Auckland City’s Employee of the Month to Viktor, our Health & Safety champion!
Recently, Viktor was faced with a situation where his immediate supervisor went off-site to do an errand and the power in the whole building / apartment block went out. The main contractor was able to continue working but Viktor’s duties were a little different and he felt unsafe as there was insufficient lighting where he was working in the building. He contacted OneStaff immediately and raised his concerns and after almost 1 hour of the issue not being fixed, we agreed it was best to leave the site and return when proper lighting was restored the next day.
Viktor’s initiative and communication with the main contracting company on-site as well as with OneStaff was excellent and his judgment was very good in terms of sufficient lighting and safety risk. Congratulations, Viktor and keep up the amazing work!
