The OneStaff Christchurch team brought together 70 clients to attend a Pink Ribbon Breakfast fundraiser to raise money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Fiona Ward and Kristan Jellyman put together a fantastic event that featured Cherie winning the ‘guess the number of jelly bears in the jar’ competition, with a guess of 487! Donna went home with the ‘Mish Mash’ voucher for the best dressed, plus Downer and CS Roofing both won the ‘Morning Tea’ prize delivered by Chris Stanton dressed up in a bunny costume!
The event raised over $1735 which OneStaff’s very own Scott Brittenden kindly matched, taking the total amount raised up to $3470!
All funds raised will go towards supporting the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission of improving early detection, education, research, medical grants and support for all those with breast cancer.
Last year over 2,600 events were held across New Zealand which raised over $1 million dollars. This year’s target is $1.5 million.
A huge thank you to all of our clients for attending and supporting the event, and to Cherie and Donna (pictured below posing with Christchurch Area Manager, Clive Murden) who have committed to the running the event again next year.
