OneStaff Assessment Centres Now ConstructSafe Certified

At OneStaff, the Health & Safety of our team is of paramount importance. We’re always looking for new ways that we can help your team stay safe at work, and in keeping with that, we’re proud to announce that we’re now an accredited ConstructSafe assessor.

If you’re wondering what ConstructSafe assessments are all about, here’s a quick overview. ConstructSafe was initiated by The Construction Safety Council of New Zealand, and has become our national standard for Health & Safety competency in the Construction industry. ConstructSafe awards certificates of competency (ConstructSafe cards) to those who pass the online test. This card can be scanned by any employer for an instant verification of competency.

So if you’re an employer we can now independently assess the Health & Safety competence of your team or new hires through the ConstructSafe framework at our OneStaff assessment centres, reducing the risk of untrained or inexperienced workers creating a hazardous situation for themselves or others.

If you’re not an employer but you’re keen to get your ConstructSafe qualification, the good news is that this is also pretty painless! The assessment consists of a multichoice questionnaire, and also provides an online learning framework, so that once you have the practical knowledge, getting proof of your skills is a really straightforward process.

ConstructSafe is backed by all key industry bodies to improve Health & Safety performance. If you’d like more information, feel free to get in touch with your local OneStaff area manager, or visit the ConstructSafe website.
