Tekaai remembered from a recent toolbox meeting that the forklift operator on the construction site was always meant to have a spotter in that particular area so when Tekaai noticed there was no spotter, he informed the Forklift Operator who wasn’t interested. Undaunted, Tekaai mentioned it to the Site Supervisor who instructed the Forklift Operator to always have a spotter and ensure H&S protocols are being followed at all times.
Tekaai is quite shy, so we applaud him doing the right thing and speaking up! Thank you for doing your part to keep yourself and others around safe at all times, Tekaai!
