How we’re responding to COVID-19

Kia ora,

On behalf of my entire team I’m reaching out to you as a valued friend of OneStaff. Whether a client, candidate, supplier or colleague, most of you will be aware NZ is currently responding to the Global Pandemic COVID-19. While national efforts are in effect to protect NZ and its people, it is important not to panic, but also important to not be ignorant of the virus and how it can be transmitted. Assisting these efforts has required some adjustment to standard operating procedures here at OneStaff.

It is everybody’s responsibility to do their part in minimising the transmission of COVID-19. Subsequently, OneStaff have put in place a number of logical measures derived from the World Health Organisation and NZ Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of both you, and of all our staff whenever we work together.

Some of these new measures include:

  • Regular hand cleaning, and extra provision of disposable materials to reduce transmission including installing extra hand sanitisation units for compulsory staff and customer use in all our branches,
  • Altering the usual handshake greeting in favour of other positive non-contact gestures,
  • Increasing routine equipment and surface sanitisation schedules at our branches,
  • Continuing with staff education and communication on COVID-19 as it develops from reputable sources (WHO and NZ MoH),
  • Installing branch posters and updated displays outlining steps that can be taken to reduce transmission and to keep yourself and others safe,
  • Updating our travel and meeting protocols to minimise exposure risk for our staff and those that they come into contact with,
  • Preparing our teams to respond quickly to any developing situation should it occur,
  • Reinforcing in-branch screening processes for all staff to include exemption of those with cold/flu-like symptoms (until cleared) and confirming recent travel/self-isolation factors are complete before engaging into our workplace or yours.

As circumstances develop OneStaff will continue holding the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all as a founding principle within our services. Subsequently we will continue to refine our approach to COVID-19 and update you accordingly. You may also have your own requirements related to management of this virus; we are happy to work with you to incorporate into our processes as required. Please let us know.

We have always taken great pride in serving our customers and communities with all our ability, and in keeping our branches safe and clean. To make sure we can keep on serving you to highest standard, your patience, assistance and cooperation with these additional measures is greatly appreciated. We look forward to working with you through this process.

Ngā mihi nui,

Jonathan Ives
